Newquay Forest School

Student Skill Share Workshop

What is the student skill share all about?

Throughout the year (usually on the first Saturday of the month) we will be putting together an interactive training workshop designed to; help maintain best FS practice, give an opportunity to network with other students, share experience, spend time in the woods and generally have a great time! It is an opportunity for established Forest School settings to link with trainees looking for experience and also for us it is a way of honoring our commitment to you.

Are children welcome?

Your children are always welcome, however we will not be taking direct responsibility for your young people, so you will be expected to take full responsibility for them while at the workshop.

Can I bring a friend?

You are welcome to bring a guest or two, though they will have to book in separately and pay for their space at £12per person over 18

(unless it is their first Student Skill Share in which case it is free of charge).

What about dogs?

We do not allow dogs on our site for H&S reasons.

What about food?

Good question! We ask that folks bring a packed lunch or dinner. We are very happy if you would like to cook on the fire, however we do ask that you clear up after yourself...

and bring all utensils needed :)

Do I need to book on?

There is no booking form, however it would be helpful if you let us know you are planning on joining in.

If you are not one of our Forest School trainees please fill out the form below and we will email you the details for the next event.
