Camping out/ Residential camps

Newquay Forest School offers a range of residential options from our one night GO WILD experience to week long residential camps. These can be fully tailored to meet the requirements of the group (please see options below)

Accommodation options

Newquay Forest School specialises in hammock camping, though we do have access to other accommodation for the less adventurous!

For schools and youth clubs looking for a short overnight option our GO WILD over night adventure course has been designed with this in mind (see below for details)

FROM £55 pp. (Includes breakfast and dinner).

Example Program: (timings and activities are adaptable depending on age and level of group and requirements of school. Prices vary depending on requirements, please contact us for a quotation.)

GO WILD - Day 1

13:00 - Meet up at the car park and transfer any bags or equipment into our vehicles to be taken to the site

13:15 - 14:00 Start nature walk ending at the camp site carrying only a small rucksack each

14:00 - 14:30 Introductions, site orientation and safety talk

14:30 - 16:00 Setting up camp (depending on level of group - rigging hammocks and tarps, collecting fire wood, making dinner)

16:00 - 17:30 Woodland workshop 1 - (A choice of activities and games)

17:30 - 18:15 Dinner

18:15 - 19:15 Camp fire with marshmallows and hot chocolate ending with evening routine

19:15 - 20:15 Night Walk and evening meeting

20:15 - 20:45 Final checks & lights out

GO WILD - Day 2

07:00 - Wake up call

07:30 - 08:00 - Breakfast

08:00 - 08:30 - Pack down

08:30 - 10:00 - Woodland workshop 2 - (A choice of activities and games)

10:00 - 10:30 - Final meeting and summary - check site

10:30 - 11:30 - Walk back, woodland games and pack up transport

11:30 - Leave for school
